Langtang Gosainkunda Pass Trek is a pure Himalayan trek. It is an amazing and short trek. It is in the relatively quiet area of the Langtang region. Langtang region is just a day’s journey from Kathmandu. The trek starts from Syabrubesi. The Syabrubesi is an interesting village near the Bhotekoshi river. This area is quite pristine and remote as compared to Annapurna and Everest region. Langtang-Gosainkunda is located close to the Tibetan border. This area is enclosed by snow capped mountain. It culminates at the peak of Langtang Himal. The lake melts and zips down to form the Trishuli River. It remains frozen for six months in winter,  October to June. There are 108 lakes in this area. They are small to medium in size.

Langtang-Gosainkunda Pass Trek offers to examine the stunning, beautiful holy lakes of Gosaikunda. It is considered holy by both Hindus and Buddhist. Many Hindu peoples peregrinate to have holy bath in the lakes during the August full moon. It is celebrated as a festival of Janai Purnima. The journey starts exploring Tamang heritage. Tamang Heritage is situated between the Langtang and Ganesh Himal. The trek gives opportunity to examine the culture of Tamang peoples. Trekkers can have direct interaction with them and their traditions, lifestyle and language.

The attracting part of Langtang Gosaikunda pass trek is a pneumatic view of snow-capped mountains, glacier and wildlife animals. The blooming full of rhododendrons, alpine forest and bamboo forest are seen on the way. This makes the place more beautiful and impressive. You may see the red panda and other different colorful birds.

Langtang-Gosainkunda Pass Trek is a classic trekking route in Langtang region. This region is the habitat of many wildlife.
